CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - May 16, 1979 <br />C. SPECIAL REPORTS: (Continued) <br />2. Reports of Ad Hoc Committees: <br />Councilman Perkins praised the City Attorney and City Manager for their work in outlining <br />procedures for subarea plans for the Town. <br />3. Reports from the Planning Commission: None <br />4. Presentations from the Floor: <br />Mrs. Wood, Stonebrook, questioned as to when the Budget would be available for public <br />review and was advised that it would be out as soon as it is typed and printed. <br />Mr. Hoff, Los Altos, asked when audience members might speak to Item B. 4. e) and was <br />advised of the tabling procedure followed and that he would be notified when this <br />Resolution might be agendaed again. <br />D. STAFF - REPORTS, CORRESPONDENCE & ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. City Manager: None <br />2. City Engineer: <br />a) Subdivision Flow Chart <br />The City Engineer addressed the Final Map Flow Chart which had previously been forwarded <br />to Council, introduced the Site Development Flow Chart and stated that the remaining area! <br />of processing were being updated and would be available soon. Councilmembers commended <br />the material as a good beginning step and suggested the inclusion of citing within the <br />Flow Charts which Staff member is responsible, which Staff member signs off a particular <br />process, what forms are needed and state on the Chart the next step required, i.e., on <br />the Final Map Flow Chart place a box showing Site Development as the next requirement. <br />The City Attorney advised the Council of the court's decision in the Town's behalf on <br />the recent lawsuit concerning Lands of Taylor. <br />E. SPECIAL ORDERS: <br />1. Request for Final Map Approval, LANDS OF LENZEN, File FM #3071-79. <br />Following the Staff recommendation to delete the Private Road Maintenance Agreement, <br />Councilmembers questioned the advisability of this action and their concern to be <br />consistent in providing for future maintenance of private roads in the Town. The City <br />Attorney stated that, in this case, it was appropriate to drop the requirement as it <br />differed from previous circumstances when one subdivider owned all the land involved. <br />Council concurred that this would cause a hardship on only one or two of the property <br />owners gaining access from this road, but that special note of their concern should be <br />included in the file. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Perkins, seconded by Councilman Nystrom <br />and passed unanimously by all members present that it be noted on the Final Map, LANDS <br />OF LENZEN, that Type I foundation be used only. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Nystrom, seconded by Councilman Perkins <br />LW an carried unanimously by all members present to adopt Resolution #1203 approving Final <br />Parcel Map for Lands of Lenzen and approving and authorizing execution of Subdivision <br />Agreement. <br />-3- <br />
