STAFF - REPORTS, CORRESPONDENCE & ANNOUNCEMENTS: (Continued) <br />4W 1. a) Request from Dr. Buch (Continued) <br />Councilmembers then ascertained from Staff and Dr. Duch the myriad of causes for <br />the drainage problem as it now affects Dr. Buch's property and rough estimates on <br />costs which are proposed to be shared between the Town and Dr. Buch. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Nystrom, seconded by Councilman <br />er ins and passed unanimously by all members present to continue this matter until <br />the next meeting (9/5/79) so that Staff could provide more precise maps, and engin- <br />eering and cost detail for consideration on the storm drain improvements. <br />As it was not yet the appointed time for SPECIAL ORDERS, the following agenda <br />items were taken out of order. <br />F. GENERAL ORDERS & UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />1. Request from State Department of Food and Agriculture for elm tree removal on <br />Stonebrook Court. <br />The City Manager directed Council attention to letters of 8/2/79 and 8/21/79, citing <br />on attachments the trees to be removed, from the State Department and answered <br />questions as to procedures involved. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Nystrom, seconded by Councilman <br />Proft and carried unanimously by all members present to authorize Town removal of <br />elm trees noted in the State Department Reports of 8/2/79 and 8/21/79 with replace- <br />ment as appropriate. <br />4 G. NEW BUSINESS <br />Councilman Perkins suggested that Council consider a method whereby Planning <br />Commissioners might be reimbursed for their vehicle expense and the City Manager <br />advised that an appropriate Resolution could be prepared for the next meeting. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Perkins, seconded by Councilman <br />Nystrom and passed unanimously by all members present to direct the City Manager to <br />set up a local travel expense program for the Planning Commission and prepare the <br />appropriate Resolution for consideration at the next meeting. <br />At 8:10 p.m. the City Council adjourned to an Executive Session - Litigation. <br />At 8:40 p.m. Council reconvened. <br />E. SPECIAL ORDERS: <br />1. Request for Final Map Approval, BERRY HILL, File FM #3074-79. <br />Councilmembers briefly discussed with Staff the need for recordation of the Private <br />Road Maintenance Agreement in order to provide notification to all future buyers. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Proft, seconded by Councilman <br />Nystrom and passed unanimously to adopt Resolution #1233 approving Final Subdivision <br />Map, approving and authorizing execution of Subdivision Agreement and authorizing <br />execution of Private Road Maintenance Agreement between Gerard & Lambert, Inc., and <br />Los Altos Hills. Also, directed to insert a sentence into this Resolution directing <br />the recordation of the Private Road Maintenance Agreement. <br />4 <br />-3- <br />
