CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />L 26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING <br />Tuesday, October 10, 1978 <br />cc: Reel 113, Side I, Tr. I, 324 -End; Side II, Tr. I, 001-067 <br />Mayor Pro Tem McReynolds called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 4:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL & PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE: <br />Present: Mayor Pro Tem McReynolds, Councilmembers Nystrom, Perkins and <br />Proft. <br />Absent: Mayor Hillestad. <br />Staff: City Manager Robert Crowe and City Attorney Frank Gillio. <br />At 4:10 PM, the City Council adjourned to Personnel Session. <br />Meeting resumed at 4:20 PM. <br />4B. CURRENT BUSINESS: <br />The City Manager presented a summary of the purpose of the adjourned <br />meeting, specifically, to discuss findings of soils investigations for <br />Saddle Mountain Estates, Tract No. 6297. <br />Mr. Crosby, Soils Engineer, advised Council of the results of soils tests <br />made by him, thirteen borings with samples. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman Perkins, seconded by <br />Councilman Proft and carried unanimously to direct that hydro -seeding <br />proceed as soon as possible and that the developers submit mix and plans <br />to Town for approval by the City Manager. <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman McReynolds, seconded by <br />Councilman Nystrom and passed by the following roll call vote that plans <br />for a temporary storm drain system, sufficient for one winter season, be <br />submitted to the City Manager for approval. <br />AYES: Councilmembers McReynolds, Nystrom and Proft. <br />NOES: Councilman Perkins. <br />ABSENT: Mayor Hillestad <br />MOTION SECONDED AND CARRIED: Moved by Councilman McReynolds, seconded by <br />Councilman Nystrom and passed unanimously that the City Engineer, Town <br />Geologist and Jo Crosby. under the direction of the City Manager, review <br />the stability of slopes and soils in the area of the retention basin, the <br />pad on Lot 26 and any pads with the potential for off site problems. <br />Recommendations for remedial action are to be made as soon as possible. <br />
