CITY COUNCIL MM= - April 20, 1977 <br />Page t Am <br />IMS RE"M FTM CCME r CATENDAR EOR SEPARATE C(MIMPATI(V: (continued) <br />LANDS OF TN(EMON, File #ASA 6079-76: (continued) <br />It was his intent to deny without prejudice this request for building site <br />approval, and then to instruct staff and the Planning Ccm dssim to make a <br />circulation study of the Chaparral Way area. <br />Councilman McReynolds stated that the area under discussion was set aside in <br />the General Plan as an area for a circulation study. As an alternative to <br />the roadway proposed which could require extensive cut and fill, he suggested <br />that the owner of the Lands of Horton be contacted to work out an approach <br />over these lands and Altarnt Road. <br />Town Engineer Russell noted that the Horton had been contacted, and that they <br />had refused access over their property to the Lands of ongernan. <br />The hearing was opened to the public: <br />SueUnc�erman1 832 Nash Road, Los Altos said that she had been hassling over <br />tTie�riveway on r property since Septenber, and that she had owned this <br />property for two and a half years. She had not rot with success in talking <br />with Mr. Gerard in developing her property jointly with his or in discussing <br />an access across the Lands of Horton, and she stated further that the nuns <br />who owned adjacent lands did not wish to relinquish any of their privacy. <br />She said she wanted to develop her property any way possible, but she would <br />not like to wait another year. <br />MO77CN SECQIDED AND CARRIED: It was roved by Councilman Proft and seconded <br />by Councilman McReynolds to continue the Lands of Tingea n, File #ASA 6079-76, <br />to the second meeting in June and to instruct staff and the Planning Co mission <br />to make a circulation study of the Chaparral area. <br />The notion passed with a unanimous roll call vote. <br />9. Actions of the Planning Commission: <br />Reoamended renewal of Conditional Use Permit, Fremont Hills Country Club, <br />File #CU 8010-76, subject to conditions. <br />Councilman Pmft questioned the need for a survey required on Condition 11 (a) <br />of the Conditional Use Permit conditions. Mr. Crowe stated that there was no <br />need on the part of the Town to make the survey in order to fulfill the require- <br />ment of moving the fence back. However, Mr. Russell stated that a survey was <br />desirable in order to determine where the private property line began. He stated <br />that without a survey, the Town could be trespassing on private property. <br />MYfICN SECCT= AND PASSED UNANIMDUSLY: It was moved by Councilman Proft, seconded <br />by Councilman Cheney, and passed unanimously in a roll call vote that Condition 11(a) <br />be amended to require that Fremont Hills Country Club hire R professional surveyor <br />rather than the Town. <br />` M TIIN SES AND U[g1ND=LY APPIL7 M IN A R)LL CATS. 1=: It was urved by <br />Councilman Proft and seconded by Councilman Cheney to approve Conditional Use <br />Permit #C31 8010-76 for the Fremont Hills Country Club as amended by the City Council. <br />
