CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />26379 Fremont Road <br />Los Altos Hills, California <br />MINUTES OF AN ADJOURNED MEETING <br />Tuesday, March 23, 1976 <br />cc: Reel 85, Side 1. Tr. 2 - 001-1215 <br />Mayor Robert Cheney called the Adjourned Meeting of the City Council to order <br />at 7:45 P.M. in the Council Chambers of Town Hall. <br />A. ROLL CALL: <br />Present: Councilmen Brown, Grabowski, Proft, Councilwoman Hillestad, M�yor <br />Cheney <br />Staff: City flanager/City Clerk Robert Crowe <br />B. INTERVIEN OF PLAMNING COtIMISSION CANDIDATES: <br />Council met at and talked with the following residents who had applied to <br />fill the vacancies existing on the Planning Commission: <br />Mrs. Bernice Rosen Mrs. Stella Karras <br />Mr. Richard Rydell Mr. William C. Hahn <br />Mr. Steve McReynolds Mr. Richard Koon <br />4W Mr. Michael Stewart <br />Mayor Cheney noted for the record that applications had been submitted by <br />two other residents, Mr. George Boyd and fir. Jitze Couperous, but both were <br />out of town and unable to attend this evening's meeting. <br />After talking with each candidate. Mayor Cheney asked Council if it was <br />their desire to make all three appointments to the Commission this evening. <br />All Council members were in agreement with the exception of Councilman <br />Brown, who dissented. <br />Mayor Cheney announced that the procedure would be for Council to vote by <br />ballot for three candidates, and those receiving the majority of votes would <br />be appointed. <br />City Manager Robert Crowe announced that Mr. Richard Rydell, fir. William <br />Hahn, and Mr. Michael Stewart had received the majority of Council votes. <br />Councilwoman Hillestad moved, seconded by Councilman Brown to appoint Mr. <br />Rydell, Mr. Hahn and Mr. Stewart to the Planning Commission to fill the <br />unexpired terms of former Commissioners Hillestad, Brown and Proft. Notion <br />carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />C. ADJOURNMENT: Council adjourned at 11:10 P.11. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />d%W Robert E. Crowe <br />City Clerk <br />
