CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - May 6, 1976 <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: (Cont'd) <br />Mr. Crowe responded to Council's inquiry that he foresaw no problem <br />if such a request were granted. <br />Council discussion concerned liability coverage, and whether there was <br />enough roem to handle the riders and the horses on the property. Cdr. <br />Dochnahl reported that the Trek was self-sustaining and feed for the <br />horses and food for the riders would be supplied, and Mr. Crowe noted <br />there was a sufficient supply of water on the property. Cdr. Dochnahl <br />said he would have more details as plans firmed up and he would report <br />back with additional information. <br />Council concensus was that there would be no objections to the riders <br />using the Westwind Barn on the evening in question. <br />Mr. R. J. Hahn, Es�anza Dr.: Wished to know if shrubs wisich had been <br />damaged as a result of an automobile accident in front of Town Hall were <br />going to be replaced. In response, Mr. Crowe noted that this was being <br />handled by the Environmental Dasign Committee in conjunction with the <br />landscaping plans for Town Hall. He noted that an insurance settlement <br />had been received to cover the damage. Council requested that Mr. <br />Hahn's concerns be forwarded to the Committee so they might be aware <br />of his concerns. <br />Mr. Hahn also questioned whether the Town -owned equipment was gning to <br />be moved from Town Hall property, to which Mayer Cheney responded that <br />any discussion at this time regarding Town equipment would be premature. <br />Mr. Hahn requested that the equipment stored in the back of Town Hall <br />be parked as close to Fremont Avenue as possible because of the nalse <br />engendered each morning at start-up. Mr. Crowe was requested to attempt <br />to alleviate the noise problem after investigation. <br />TAKEN OUT OF ORDER AS THEY APPEAR ON THE COUNCIL'S AGENDA: <br />3.
