CITY COUNCIL MINUTES - July 17, 1974 <br />Reports of Standing_Comnittees Jcont'd <br />a) Traffic and Public Safety Committee - nepurt on 1974-75 Patrol <br />Services. <br />Commit ee regarding their rwecommendationsuon patroltservicestfor the <br />the <br />Town and the proposed traffic survey. She informed Council that a <br />folder had been prepared containing the Committee's report and all the <br />information they had used to make their recommandations, and this was <br />available at Town Hall for Council's perusal. <br />Mrs. Goldsmith said that after a special meeting of the Committee and <br />a subsequent meeting vith the Town Manager, the Committee was recommending <br />that the Town contract with Penfold Associates for a total of 260 hours <br />to complete a traffic survey for Los Altos Hills. The Committee also <br />reccmmendai that the Town apply for a State grant of Federal money in <br />thatatherCommittee0weul0 tod assistover hofficer Penfold ie costs Of Such an any way it could to <br />also d� <br />facilitate such a survey. <br />Councilman McReynolds asfied about the grant that was available. Mrs. <br />Goldsmith expldined that the City Manager was checking with the State <br />on these funds. <br />The Mayor thanked the Committee for their report and recommendations. <br />c) Cdr. J. Dochnahl, Pathway Committee representative: <br />Addressed Council concerning summer pathway maintenance program of the <br />Town and said that this work was boing done in order of priorities <br />D and the Chairman. He said that progress <br />established by the Committe <br />was being made in order of priorities and was in favor of a continuation <br />of the Program. <br />2.
