i <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />January 17, 1972 <br />REEL 41 Side 2 Track 1 000 -END <br />Side 1 Track 1 000-200 <br />Mayor Walter A. Benson called the regular meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P.M. in the Council ChAmbers of the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering roll call: Present Councilmen Corbett, Grabowaki, Helgesson, and <br />Mayor Benson. Councilman Davey arrived at 7:47 P.M. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Chairman McReynolds <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: Minutes o1 October 18, 1971 meeting. Councilman <br />Helgesson moved, seconded by Councilman Corbett and carried unanimously that <br />the minutes of the October 18, 1971 meeting be approved as written. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Request from the Planning Policy Committee of Santa Clara County for the <br />City Council to adopt emergency regulations to prevent premature develop- <br />ment in the area that is covered by the "Montebello Ridge Mountain Study". <br />Referred to Planning Commission. <br />2. Agenda and Minutes of the Transportation Policy Committee of Santa Clara <br />County. <br />3. Resolution from the City of Camarillo urged support for stricter standards <br />to control effluent waste. Council concurred to agenda for next meeting. <br />4. Jon Beekhuis, age 12, asked that the regulations of mini -bikes be changed <br />to allow use of Town trails. Council referred to Pathway Committee. <br />5. ABAG advised annual dues will be increased to $50.00. Council concurred. <br />6. League of Women Voters advised of their membership drive. <br />7. P.G.&B, advised underground line allocation for 1972 will be $e,081. <br />B. Foothill College Bond offers student labor @ $2/hour for fond raising <br />purposes. <br />9. Messrs. Dana and Singer objected to sewer line construction across Adobe <br />Creek. Council will investigate and confer with staff and, if action is <br />required, will agenda for next meeting. <br />ANNCUNCBMBNTS: Solid Waste Symposium will be held in Santa Clara on March <br />8 and 9, 1972. Councilman Helgesson will attend. <br />NDTE: Although unscheduled item were discussed out of sequence, these <br />�� mmmutes were prepared in the sequence of the agenda to provide continuity. <br />
