CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />` MINUTES OF A REGULAR NESTING <br />JULY 10, 1972 <br />Reel 45 Side 1 Track 2 110 -End <br />Side 2 Track 2 00-560 <br />Mayor Leslie Helgesson called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:45 P.M. in the Council <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, California, <br />with the following members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen <br />Davey, Grabowski, Miller and Mayor Helgesson. Councilman Kubby arrived <br />at 7:55 P.M. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: yCommissioner Lachenbruch. <br />COMMUNICATIONS• <br />1. Dr. G. F. Solomon expressed concern regarding the dangerous curve <br />above Foothill College and requested a barricade be installed to <br />prevent accidents resulting from automobiles going over the embank- <br />ment. Staff was requested to further study this area and recommend <br />possible improvements. <br />4. Assemblymen Hayden advised he will consider the Town Is position re: <br />AB2225 should it reach the floor of the Assembly. <br />5. Senator Bradley advised of the current status of SB 981. <br />1. League of California Cities Conference will be held October 15 <br />through 18 in Anaheim. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1: <br />PUBLIC HEARING: AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING ASSESSMENTS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br />SEGREGATION ON TAX ROLLS. <br />This item was deferred to the July 24, 1972 meeting. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM PPD. 2: <br />PROPOSED SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO.10 - SUMMITWOOD/LA LOMA AREA. <br />Dr. Morgan Johnson spoke for residents in the Summitwood/LaLoma area that <br />were interested in formation of a sewer assessment district. He presented <br />a proposed boundary map and noted that 15 of the 20 residents in the "bore" <br />2. Mr, M. D. Hiller urged opposition <br />to "no fault" <br />auto insurance. <br />3. City of Westminister transmitted <br />copy of their <br />resolution urging <br />State Legislature to simplify and <br />modernize the <br />judicial process. <br />4.
