CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />Vftr MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />October 24, 1972 <br />Reel 48 Side 2 Track 1 455 -End <br />Side I Track 2 00 -End <br />Mayor Leslie Helgesson called the regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7s50 P.M. in the Council <br />Chambers of the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the <br />following members answering roll calls Presents Councilmen Davey, <br />Grabowski, Kubby, Miller and Mayor Helgesson. <br />PLANNING COMMISSIONER REPRESENTATIVE: <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES+ October 2, 1472 <br />Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Miller and carried unanimwsly <br />that the minutes of October 2, 1972 be approved with the following <br />corrections: <br />Page 3, Scheduled Item No. 1, Paragraph 5, last sentence <br />Inserts forming a °Tcwnwide° assessment . . . <br />Page 8, Scheduled Item No. 2, Inserts <br />Councilman Grabowski stated the urgency of this study in order to <br />eliminate the demoralizing effect on the staff resulting from the <br />continuing delay of the salary tdinance. <br />Page 7, Ordinance No. 199, Paragraph 1, last sentence <br />Changes ^precedence° to °precedent" <br />COMMUNICATIONS' <br />I. Mrs. L. Hogle commended the Santa Clara County Sheriff+s patrol in <br />Los Altos Hills. <br />2. Mrs. B. Adams requested publicity on the low-cost, county operated <br />public spay and neuter clinic for pets and stated that full infor- <br />mation could be obtained by calling San Jose, 286-301G. <br />3. Mr. J. Lynch sent Notices re' Dawson vs. Town of Los Altos Hills su: <br />4. Baxter, McDonald and Company requested they be allowed to make their <br />presentation/report at the November 6th Council meeting. <br />General discussion ensued. Councilmen Grabowski requested clarifi- <br />cation of the initial contract which, as written, allows for extra <br />payment if the study goes beyond the intended completion date. The <br />City Attorney stated that this should be clarified but didn+t feel <br />Baxter, McDonald Company would have an additional fee, since the <br />Town did not request the extension. <br />
