UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1• REQUEST PERMISSION TO NAVE A GUARD RAIL INSTALLED ON FREMONT ROAD AT THE "LITTLE TWISTER" AND CHARGE THE EXPENSE TO 'ROAD IN -LIEU FUND". Staff presented a recommendation for the installation of a guard rail to be installed between the pavement and the recently constructed path along the Little Twister on Fremont Road. The estimated cost will be $2,000.00 and it is requested that this expense be charged to the Road In -Lieu Fund. There was general discussion at Council level, with questions asked and answered by Staff. MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Davey, to approve the expenditure of $2,000.00 and charge this expense to the Road In -Lieu Fund, was carried by the following unanimous roll call vote: Ayes: Councilmen Davey, Grabowski, Helgesson, Mayor Benson, Noes: None. Absent: Councilman Corbett. UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 2: REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO FILE A PARCEL MAP ON THE OLIVER P. WHEELER SUB- DIVISION, TRACT NO. 5038. Staff reported that the applicant has requested permission to file a Parcel Map instead of a Tract Map for this subdivision. The State Subdivision Map Act permits a Parcel Map to be filed for four lots or under. Staff noted that all the conditions of the Check List must be complied with tar prior to the filing of the Parcel Map. MOTION "CO CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Mayoz Benson and carried unanimously that Mr. Oliver P. Wheeler be allowed to file a Parcel Map. UNSCCHEDULBD ITBM NO. 3: STAFF REPORTS: 1, City Manager presented a report from Mr. Jerry H. Crabtree, Town Engineer, regarding the intersection of Page Mill Road and Alexis Drive. The Town Engineer still recommends Alternate III as recommended at the time the Matadero Oaks Tentative Map was approved. It was suggested that the memo from the Town Engineer be distributed to the Council, Planning Commission and interested neighbors and that this item be agended for the July 19 meeting. 2. City Attorney reported on legal action taken to eliminate the "commune" on the 7Coch property on Miranda. 3. City Attorney reported on the progress being made on the codification of Town Ordinances and asked for a decision as to the color of binders. Council concurred that green would be satisfactory. PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: `. 1. Mrs. Dianne Miller, 13076 Vista del Valle Court, mentioned there is an existing chain link fence on Taaffe Road which protrudes into a path easement. Staff was directed by Council to take whatever steps are necessary to remove this fence. -4-
