UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1• <br />REQUEST PERMISSION TO NAVE A GUARD RAIL INSTALLED ON FREMONT ROAD AT THE <br />"LITTLE TWISTER" AND CHARGE THE EXPENSE TO 'ROAD IN -LIEU FUND". <br />Staff presented a recommendation for the installation of a guard rail to be <br />installed between the pavement and the recently constructed path along the <br />Little Twister on Fremont Road. The estimated cost will be $2,000.00 and it <br />is requested that this expense be charged to the Road In -Lieu Fund. <br />There was general discussion at Council level, with questions asked and <br />answered by Staff. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Davey, <br />to approve the expenditure of $2,000.00 and charge this expense to the <br />Road In -Lieu Fund, was carried by the following unanimous roll call vote: <br />Ayes: Councilmen Davey, Grabowski, Helgesson, Mayor Benson, Noes: None. <br />Absent: Councilman Corbett. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 2: <br />REQUEST FOR PERMISSION TO FILE A PARCEL MAP ON THE OLIVER P. WHEELER SUB- <br />DIVISION, TRACT NO. 5038. <br />Staff reported that the applicant has requested permission to file a Parcel <br />Map instead of a Tract Map for this subdivision. The State Subdivision Map <br />Act permits a Parcel Map to be filed for four lots or under. <br />Staff noted that all the conditions of the Check List must be complied with <br />tar prior to the filing of the Parcel Map. <br />MOTION "CO CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by <br />Mayoz Benson and carried unanimously that Mr. Oliver P. Wheeler be allowed <br />to file a Parcel Map. <br />UNSCCHEDULBD ITBM NO. 3: <br />STAFF REPORTS: <br />1, City Manager presented a report from Mr. Jerry H. Crabtree, Town Engineer, <br />regarding the intersection of Page Mill Road and Alexis Drive. The Town <br />Engineer still recommends Alternate III as recommended at the time the <br />Matadero Oaks Tentative Map was approved. It was suggested that the memo <br />from the Town Engineer be distributed to the Council, Planning Commission <br />and interested neighbors and that this item be agended for the July 19 <br />meeting. <br />2. City Attorney reported on legal action taken to eliminate the "commune" <br />on the 7Coch property on Miranda. <br />3. City Attorney reported on the progress being made on the codification of <br />Town Ordinances and asked for a decision as to the color of binders. <br />Council concurred that green would be satisfactory. <br />PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />`. 1. Mrs. Dianne Miller, 13076 Vista del Valle Court, mentioned there is an <br />existing chain link fence on Taaffe Road which protrudes into a path easement. <br />Staff was directed by Council to take whatever steps are necessary to remove <br />this fence. <br />-4- <br />
