CITY COUNCIL <br />t TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />` MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />February 2, 1970 <br />REEL 23 - SIDE 2, TRACK 1 - FOOTAGE 00 - 723 <br />Mayor Wm. Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:48 P. M. in the Council Chambers of <br />the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following <br />members answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, <br />Helgesson and Mayor Aiken. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner W. F. Minckley <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: January 19, 1970. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Benson, that the Minutes of <br />January 19, 1970 be approved as submitted, was carried by majority voice <br />vote, Councilman Fowle abstained. <br />COMMUNICATIONS• <br />1, James T. Gardner, 4363 Malcolm Avenue, Oakland, requesting refunding <br />agreement with the Town for sewers to be constructed on Christopher's Lane; <br />Staff recommendation to be made February 16. <br />2. Charles H. Lane, 12660 Viscaino Court, requesting road work on <br />Viscaino Court; to be sealcoated when funds are available. <br />3. Los Altos Hills Tree Committee request for approval of "MAILBOX <br />IMPROVEMENT WEEK" in conjunction with Los Altos Post Office; Committee <br />proposal approved. <br />4. John S. Elledge, Focus on Young Children, requesting the first week in <br />March be designated "Early Childhood Education Week"; referred to School <br />Districts. <br />1) Palo Alto Planning Commission to consider Land Resources Corporation <br />proposal on Wednesday, February 4, 1970 at 7:30 P. M.; Planning Commissioner <br />P. R. Weisbart and Deputy Mayor Walter A. Benson to represent Town. <br />2) County Board of Supervisors had recommended favorably on Town Resolution <br />requesting a study of Black Mountain, Montebello and Skyline Ridges and <br />foothill areas, and had referred the resolution to the Planning Policy <br />Committee. <br />3) Santa Clara County had reduced assessments in the Summerhill Area Sewer <br />District, pursuant to Town sewer policy. <br />4) Inter -City Council requested Town representation on 911 Emergency Tele. <br />4W phone No. Committee; Planning Commission representative requested. <br />5) Mayor Aiken requested Council to submit Committee membership suggestions <br />to review dog control regulations. <br />
