PRESENTATIONS FROM THE FLOOR: Gamboa cont'd.: <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried by unanimous roll call vote, to authorize release o" funds to <br />Mr. Thomas Gamboa, of the Arbor Development Co., when the remaining <br />outstanding release is signed by Mr. Gieseler and the Town Engineer has <br />approved the nUmp=f= installation. <br />Council noted the pump maintenance would be the property owners <br />responsibility. <br />ORDINANCES• <br />1. Ordinance No. 171 - Second Reading. <br />The City Attorney read the title of Ordinance No. 171, an ordinance of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills establishing provisions for filing of claims <br />against the Town, Bond for public officials, Council procedures, subdivision <br />procedures, and repealing unnecessary ordinances. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by <br />Helgesson and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that futher reading <br />of Ordinance No. 171 be waived. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Aiken <br />and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that Ordinance No. 171 be adopted <br />as read. <br />far 2. Ordinance No. 172 - Second Readin <br />The City Attorney read the title of Ordinance No. 172, an ordinance of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills amending Ordinance No. 78 providing for convent use <br />and establishing regulations therefor. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that further reading of Ordinance <br />No. 172 be waived. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Aiken moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that Ordinance No. 172 be adopted <br />as read. <br />WARRANTS: <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Aiken <br />and carried unanimously by roll call vote, that the warrants as presented <br />in the amount of FOUR THOUSAND 1WO HUNDRED NINETEEN DOLLARS and Seventy-five <br />Cents ($4,219.75) be approved and the City Clerk authorized to draw the <br />appropriate warrants. <br />OTHER BUSINESS BY COUNCILMEN: <br />1. Mayor Benson, as representative of the Transportation Policy Committee, <br />requested the Council to go on record to urge the County Board of Supervisors <br />to again place on the ballot a measure to determine whether a County -wide <br />transit system be established. This would be an interim bus system eventually <br />replaced by a Barts System. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by <br />Grabowski and carried by unanimous voice vote, that the Council take such <br />action as requested above by Mayor Benson. <br />-5- <br />
