CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF LOS ALTOS PILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />November 16, 1970 <br />REEL 31 - SIDE 1, TRACK 1 -- FOOTAGE 00-1395 <br />REEL 31 - SIDE 2, TRACK 1 -- FOOTAGE 00-90 <br />Mayor Walter A. Benson called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the Town <br />of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:55 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the Town Hall, <br />26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members answering roll call: <br />Present: Councilmen Corbett, Davey, Grabowski and Mayor Benson. Absent: <br />Councilman Helgesson. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner Spencer. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 2, 1970 <br />Councilman Grabowski moved, seconded by Corbett and carried unanimously that the <br />Minutes of November 2, 1970 be approved as written. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br />1. Notice from Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. informed of rate increase <br />r effective January 1, 1971 for Employees Medical Plan. <br />�r Council concurred that this increase should be paid by the employee. <br />2. Letter from Mr. David A. Tucker, State Park Historian, advised that the Town <br />make an appointment, when convenient, to our representatives to meet with him in <br />Sacramento to file the papers that request Juan Prado Mesa Adobe be declared an <br />historical site. <br />3. Alan S. Hart, District Engineer for the Division of Highways, stated that they <br />will soon install grid -type grates on catch basins located at Purissima with <br />Arastradero and Elena. This will allow safe crossing of bicycles. <br />4. The Town insurance carrier has advised that the annual liability coverage for <br />the period November 1, 1970 to November 1, 1971 will be $2,914. Discussion noted <br />that there would be some adjusting decrease due to the completion of certain <br />litigation. <br />5. County Public Works informed of their Community Landscaping Participation <br />Program for expressways. It was noted that landscaping plans had been prepared <br />but County funds were not available to contract the landscaping. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1: <br />GIULIE, JOE D. (BSA -61-70) Request for Building Site Approval of 1 lot, lot 618, <br />Pink Horse Reach Unit 61, Tract 61684. <br />Staff noted that the Planning Commission had reviewed this request at their <br />November 9, 1970 meeting and had recommended its approval. The two conditions, <br />Lpertaining to a path easement across the corner of the lot and park in -lieu fees, <br />ar were discussed. <br />
