SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 4: Parkside Revised Tentative Map II -B, Cont'd. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Corbett moved, seconded by Davey and <br />carried unanimously to approve a variance for aide setback on lot #22 of Parkside <br />Unit #2 from 30' to 20' along the southerly lot line. <br />Discussion of the variance request for lot #36 noted that the request to reduce <br />the side setback seemed reasonable in view of the terrain and also since the <br />Planning Commission had recommended approval of a variance on lot #35 which would <br />move the adjoining building site farther away from lot #36. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Corbett and <br />carried unanimously to approve a variance to move the side setback for lot #36 <br />from 30' to 20' along the southerly lot line. <br />Council concurred that the variances for lots #27, 33 and 35 as recommended for <br />approval by the Planning Commission were reasonable. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Davey moved, seconded by Grabowski and <br />carried unanimously that the variances for lots #27, 33 and 35 as described below <br />be granted. <br />Lot #27 (Unit #4) - permit the reduction in the side setback along the <br />west side from 30' to 20'. <br />Lot #33 (Unit #3) - permit reduction in both side setbacks from 30' to <br />20'. <br />L Lot #35 (Unit #3) - permit reduction in the side setback along the south <br />• side from 30' to 201. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 5: <br />FitAL MAP FOR PARRSIDE UNIT #2, TRACT #4875 (351-68 File #i - 7 lots <br />Engr. Saudis & Associates. <br />Staff noted that this Final Map for seven lots was in conformance with Unit #2 as <br />designated on the Revised Tentative Map II -B, approved above. Also all conditions <br />had been met for filing of this Final Map; i.e., improvement plans had been <br />submitted and the estimated cost of improvements had been accomplished. <br />Staff recommended that approval of this Final Map be conditioned with the applicant <br />providing: <br />1. A signed option to the Town for the 4+ acres of open space above Moody Ct, and <br />2. A recordable document (scenic easement) whereby developmental rights would <br />be dedicated to the Town so that no more lots could be built upon the <br />remaining units (Units #3 and 4) than are shown on the approved Tentative Map <br />II -B of Parkside. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Corbett moved, seconded by Grabowski <br />and carried unanimously that the Final lisp for Unit #2 of Parkside be approved, <br />conditioned upon the applicant providing Staff with an acceptable option for the <br />Town to purchase the proposed open space above Moody Court, plus an acceptable <br />recordable scenic easement which would limit developmental rights for Units #3 and <br />4 to that shown on the approved Parkside Tentative Map II -B. <br />-3- <br />
