CITY COUNCIL <br />TOWN OF IAS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR ADJOURNED MEETING <br />September 2, 1969 <br />REEL 19 - SIDE 2, TRACK 3 - FOOTAGE 00-1349 <br />REEL 19 - SIDE 1, TRACK 1 - FOOTAGE 00- 777 <br />Mayor Wm. Ross Aiken called the Regular Meeting of the City Council of the <br />Town of Los Altos Hills to order at 7:50 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the <br />Town Hall, 26379 Fremont Road, Los Altos Hills, with the following members <br />answering roll call: Present: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, Helgesson, <br />Mayor Aiken. Absent: None. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE: Commissioner L. Dawson <br />Mayor Aiken opened the meeting with a moment of silence in memory of the <br />Town's first Mayor, Sidney W. Treat. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: August 18, 1969. <br />Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by Benson and carried unanimously, that <br />the Minutes of August 18, 1969 be approved as submitted. <br />COMMUNICATICIS: <br />Assistant City Manager reviewed the following: <br />1) William Dean Klink, 4191 Briarwood Way, Palo Alto, dated August 20th <br />expressing concern over proposed development of the Coyote Hill area bordering <br />Los Altos Hills and suggesting a scale model of the proposed commercial <br />development be constructed. <br />Council requested Staff to transmit to Mr. Klink previous Council action <br />expressing similar concerns and expressing the Councils appreciation for <br />his interest. <br />2) Lawrence Gahagen, KPGM Co -General Manager, dated August 26, thanking the <br />Council for its initiative and cooperation re relocation of the KPGM radio <br />antenna. <br />3) Donald A. Rutledge, 24125 Dawnridge Drive, Los Altos Hills, dated <br />August 26, urging Town recognition of the efforts and significant results of <br />the Pathway Committee and particularly that of its past Chairman, Mrs. Edward <br />L. Ginzton. <br />Mayor Aiken expressed the appreciation of the Council for the efforts of <br />Mrs. Ginzton during her years of service to the Town. <br />4) Herman J. Mager, President, Tri -County Apartment Association, dated <br />August 27, requesting proclamation of September 29 through October 4 as <br />"Apartment Living Week". <br />40 Council concurred no action would be appropriate in view of Tam objectives. <br />
