Dawson and P. Weisbart; Frank Ainsworth, E. Sunset Drive; <br />Louise Dronkert, 27431 Black Mountain Road; and Thomas Marshall, 25560 <br />Altamont Road. <br />The following points were clarified during Council discussion: <br />1) Council unanimously opposed increased traffic on Town roads to serve <br />adjacent communities, and means to control traffic on Arastradero and Page <br />Mill Roads should be exercised, if necessary. <br />2) Council concurred any change in zoning regulations which would increase <br />development density adjacent to Town boundaries would be detrimental to the <br />Town. <br />MOTION AND SECONDED: Mayor Aiken moved, seconded by Benson, that the City <br />Council go on record stating that the Los Altos Hills City Council is not <br />( interested in negotiating with any governmental or private organization <br />`, when such negotiation would in any way assist in increasing development <br />density, and that the Council is opposed to any change in zoning in the <br />Palo Alto Foothills, until the Foothill Environmental Study has been completed <br />Following Council discussion, Motionex and Seconder withdrew the above Motion. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Mayor Aiken moved, seconded by Benson and <br />carried unanimously, that the City Council go on record stating that the <br />Los Altos Hills City Council is interested in negotiating with any govern- <br />mental or private organization, when such negotiation would assist in the <br />retention of low density residential development (one acre or more) in all <br />foothill areas. <br />RECESS: 10:03 - 10:20 P. M. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 3• <br />DISCUSSION OF TOWN -WIDE DRAINAGE COMMITTEE REPORT. <br />Council concurred this matter should be continued and agended for 8:00 P. M. <br />at the October 20th meeting. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 4• <br />PRESENTATION OF ENGINEER'S REPORT AND POSSIBLE ACTION PERTAINING TO <br />S.A.D. #4 (Los Altos Capacity Reservation). <br />Mr. George Cook, representing Charles S. McCandless & Co., City Engineer, <br />presented his report prepared pursuant to the Division 4 of the Streets and <br />` Highways Code.
