City Manager announced that toe Council will meet in a study session <br />on Wednesday, January 10, 1968 at 6:00 P. M. at the Fremont Hills <br />Elementary School, 26600 Ortega Drive, Los Altos Hills. The Open <br />Discussion Meeting will cover the following subjects: <br />a) Sewers in the Barron Creek Area (Assessment District We. 3). <br />b) Proposed Sewer Contract with the City of Palo Alto. <br />c) Possible Alternates to Palo Alto Contract. <br />d) Possible Financing of Sewers in the Entire Area of the Town whirl: <br />drains to Palo Alto. <br />e) Other Aspects of interest regarding Severs. <br />Scheduled Item No, 1. <br />REPORT OF lR3XVAY NOISE ABATEMENT CaTUTTEE: REEL 3 <br />SIDE 2 <br />Mr. Donald A. miller, Chairman of the Freeway Noise Abatement Com- TRACK 2 <br />mittee, presented an oral progress report and referred to his Summary 65 <br />of Remarks as presented at the Council meeting of December 1B, 1967. <br />Mr, hiller announced deferment of the Committee meeting until <br />January 11, 1966 to avoid conflict with City Council Study Fession. <br />Mr, Miller deferred comment on Truck Ban Ordinance No. 131 until its <br />scheduled appearance on the Agenda. <br />Unscheduled Item 140. 1. <br />DECK:RT, WALLACE H. (BSA -36-67): <br />Ar, Deckert requested withdrawal from the Agenda and the City C1crk <br />was instructed to re -agenda this item for the January 15th meeting. <br />Unscheduled Item IVo. 2. <br />STAPF REPORTS: <br />City manager reported on the following subjects: <br />1) Santa Clara County has relinquished intersections on 11 Monte <br />Avenue to Los Altos Hills and will 2.iscontinue maintenance of <br />signalized intersections on January 15, 1965. City Aanager requested <br />permission to arrange for County maintenance on a contract basis and <br />was so ordered. <br />2) City ✓ianager submitted a rubbing o:` revised commemorative— plaque, <br />9;;10", and was instructed to proceed ,vith the purchase and with plans <br />for a public ceremony.
