51l <br />STAFF REPORTS CONTINUED: CITY ENGINEER: <br />1) Reviewed the City of Palo Altos' request for the Town to grant an <br />�r encroachment permit for approximately 200' of gas line on Page Mill Road. <br />City Engineer stated the line location is outside of the traveled way and <br />that any damage to the road would be repaired by Palo Alto. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Helgesson moved, seconded by <br />Benson and carried unanimously, that the Town grant an encroachment permit <br />to the City of Palo Alto for the requested gas line on Page Mill Road. <br />WARRANTS: <br />593 <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Benson moved, seconded by Helgesson, <br />that the bills as presented in the amount of $4,468.36 (FOUR THOUSAND, FOUR <br />HUNDRED SIXTY-EIGHT DOLLARS and Thirty-six Cents) be approved and the City <br />Clerk authorized to draw the appropriate warrants, was carried by the follow- <br />ing roll call vote: Ayes: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowle, Helgesson, Mayor <br />Aiken. Noes: None. Absent: None. <br />OTHER BUSINESS BY COUNCILMEN: <br />Sze <br />1. Councilman Davey expressed regret of being unable to attend the Annual <br />League of California Cities Conference in Los Angeles and returned the $100.00 <br />advance. <br />City Manager noted that a report of the highlights of the Conference was <br />4 available. <br />STAFF REPORTS CONTINUED: CITY ATTORNEY: <br />1) Stated that a closed hearing had been set for November 12, 1968 to hear <br />findings on litigation re Sewer Assessment District No. 2. <br />There being no further business, Mayor Aiken adjourned the meeting at <br />8:29 P.
