COMMUNICATIONS cont'd.: <br />6) Paul Yarborough, Santa Clara County Transportation Planning Study Manager, <br />dated November 27, 1968, re concepts for consideration of formation of a <br />LSpecial Transit District for Santa Clara County. <br />1. City Manager noted Inter -City Council will hold its Annual Holiday Dinner - <br />Dance, Thursday, December 5th at Moffett Field. <br />2. City Manager stated the Minutes of the November 18th Council meeting had <br />not been distributed and would be submitted for approval at the next meeting. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1: �3 I <br />REPORT ON SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 2. <br />City Attorney stated that litigation in regard to S.A.D. #2 had not yet been <br />resolved, but that a solution should be reached by the next Council meeting. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 1: <br />MARTINELLI, FRANK L., SR., TRACT NO. 4114, 4 lots, Moody Road - Requestfor <br />extension of time for filing of Final Map. <br />City Manager stated that a recent amendment to the State Map Act now allows <br />eighteen (18) months for the filing of Final Map, instead of the previous <br />twelve (12) months. City Manager noted Mr. Martinelli had been informed of <br />the additional six months now available for filing Final Map and recommended <br />that the Council take no action at this time. <br />Council concurred. <br />UNSCHEDULED ITEM NO. 2: <br />ARBOR DEVELOPMENT CO., TRACT NO. 4444, Rosehill Estates Unit #2, 6 lots, <br />Taaffe Road - Request for extension of time for filing of Final Map. <br />City Manager noted that, pursuant to the recent amendment in the State Map <br />Act,this applicant also had six months remaining in which to file a Final <br />Map and recommended that the Council take no action at this time. <br />Council concurred. <br />SCHEDULED ITEM NO. 2: <br />APPOINTMENT OF ACTING CITY MANAGER AND CONSIDERATION OF CONSULTING SERVICES, i <br />City Manager, Lowell W. horse, noted this was his last City Council meeting <br />and recommended that the Council appoint Mr. Dennis 11. Lahr, City Clerk - <br />Treasurer, as Acting City Manager. Mr. Morse stated he would be available <br />to the Town on a consulting basis, subject to a time limitation of not more <br />than one day per week. Mr. Morse further stated that if the Council desired <br />consulting services, his fee could be prorated on the basis of his current <br />salary. <br />MOTION, SECONDED AND CARRIED: Councilman Benson moved, seconded by Helgesson <br />and carried unanimously, that the Council appoint Mr. Dennis R. Lahr as <br />Acting City Manager of Los Altos Hills effective December 15, 1968. <br />Councilman Benson moved that the City Council hire Mr. Morse on a consulting <br />basis of one day per week until a new City Manager is in office. <br />Council discussion ensued concerning consulting services and Council concurred <br />40 that it would be desirable to utilize Mr. Morse on a stand-by consulting <br />-2- <br />
