NE6! BUSINESS: <br />1. Proposed Path under Freeway Location at Page Mill and Arastradero <br />Mrs. Mary M. Paulsen presented a petition with over fifty <br />signatures, requesting "that immediate action be taken to <br />create a 4 -ft pathway paralleling Page Mill Road through the <br />cloverleaf underpass of the Junipero Serra Freeway. � <br />"The California State Highway Commission's policy (confirmed in <br />writing) is to honor pathway facilities existing prior to final <br />planning for the Freeway. Construction is scheduled for <br />January, 1965•" <br />Existing easements were discussed, as well as a joint effort <br />of the Community, in order to establish such a path. <br />It was at the suggestion of the Mayor that Councilman Aiken <br />contact Mr. J. P. Sinclair, of the State Division of Highways, <br />and that the City Manager and the City Engineer prepare <br />specifications and estimated costs, in order that action may <br />be taken at the next Council meeting, March 16, 1964. <br />F. Malcolm Smith - Potential Claim. <br />Mr. and Mrs. F. Malcolm Smith were present to itate964 ttheiro the City <br />case as submitted in letter dated February 7, <br />Council. <br />Memorandum to the Council dated February 14, 1964 from <br />Clayton J. Smith, Building Inspector, was read by the City <br />Manager. This memorandum stated the Building Department <br />of the Town of Los Altos Hills operates under the provisions <br />of the 1955 Edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code, which does <br />not call for the installation of dielectric unions between <br />piping of two dissimilar metals. <br />Mr. F. M. Smith asked for a written reply that would contain <br />this pertinent information, and suggested a review of the <br />Town's Ordinances to include dielectric unions. <br />3. Tract No 3247 ( J.
