CITY COUNCIL <br />' TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING <br />September 21, 1964 <br />The Regular Meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos <br />Hills was called to order by Mayor Wm. B. Clayton, Monday, <br />September 21, 1964, at 7:50 P. M. at the Town Hall, 26379 Fremont <br />Road, Los Altos Hills, California. <br />ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen Fowls, Henley <br />Mayor Clayton <br />ABSENT: Councilmen Aiken, Bowler <br />MINUTES: September 8, 1964. <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt Minutes of September 8, 1964 as submitted. <br />COMMUNICATIONS: None. - <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: <br />1. Santa Clara County Inter -City Council Meeti E - Thursday, <br />October 1, 1964, Sakura Gardens Restaurant, Mountain View, <br />7:30 P. M. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: None. <br />Councilman Aiken arrived at 7:52 P. N. <br />OLD BUSINESS: <br />1. Division of Highways - Lighting Maintenance, Route f#239• <br />The City Manager referred to Division of Highways'letter dated <br />August 19, 1964 regarding maintenance and operation of three <br />lighting systems marked in red, yellow and green on General <br />Plan, Nos. E-1 through 15• <br />Discussion and action followed on each system separately: <br />(a) Lighting System marked in RED (extreme lights - 100% cost): <br />It was discussed that cost was not the main point, <br />but basically it is the Town's policy to reduce <br />lighting to retain rural atmosphere. However, it was <br />agreed that the conduits should be installed. <br />
