PLANNING COMMISSION REFERRALS (Cont'd.): <br />2. Letter of Inquiry: Grading - Mmes. Miller and Ronsiek. <br />Since sufficient information was not available to the Council <br />for a constructive discussion, Deputy Mayor Bowler referred <br />this inquiry to the standing Council Committee III on legal <br />matters - Chairman Davey and Vice -Chairman Aiken, who are <br />charged to examine the following four specific points: <br />-3- <br />1) What has in effect taken place; <br />2) Conditions under which the grading took place; <br />3) Whether the public interest is involved; <br />4) If this is a subject expected to be covered by the <br />Town Ordinances, are the ordinances adequate for <br />this purpose. <br />Committee III was requested to report at the May 160 meeting. <br />NEW <br />BUSINESS: <br />1. <br />Letter Re: Gradin Ordinance - Richard Towle. <br />Since Mr. Towle's letter had bearing on the above inquiry, <br />it was referred to Committee III, with the invitation to <br />Mr. Towle to communicate with the Committee on that point <br />( <br />which deals with the adequacy of the Ordinances. <br />2. <br />Laureleen Acres, Unit No. 2 - Request for Extension of Time <br />£or Filing Final Map. <br />ACTION: <br />That the request of Laureleen Acres, Unit No. 2, <br />for extension of one (1) year to May 17, 1967 <br />for Filing Final Map be approved, subject to <br />written consent of the surety. <br />POTION: Fowle; SECODID: Aiken; VOTE: Passed unanimously. <br />VARIANCES: <br />1. <br />Robert A. Lone V-251_66) - Request for Reduction of Setback <br />Requirement to 20 from driveway easement for garage at <br />12112 Foothill Lane. <br />: <br />ACTION: <br />That the request of Robert A.
