RESOLUTION NO. 1384 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS FURTHER AMENDING THE SCHEDULE <br /> OF RATES FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los <br /> Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that <br /> WHEREAS, on April 20 , 1977, the City Council adopted Resolution <br /> No. 1027 , approving and authorizing execution of an Agreement between <br /> the City and Los Altos Garbage Company, the service rates to be charged <br /> appearing in Exhibit "A" thereto; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that the Rate Schedule may be <br /> amended by Resolution of the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, on November 7, 1979 and on March 4 , 1981, respectively,_ <br /> the City Council adopted Resolution Nos. 1247 and 1340 , respectively, <br /> amending the Rate Schedule as provided for in the Agreement; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City heretofore having become a party to the <br /> North Santa Clara County Solid Waste Management Joint Powers Authority <br /> and, together with the other parties thereto, having approved a Pro- <br /> curement - Planning <br /> ro-curement Planning Program, the City now has determined that the <br /> public interest,. welfare and convenience require that it fund its <br /> share of the cost of the Procurement Planning Program and which is <br /> estimated to be the sum of Twenty-One Thousand Twenty-Two Dollars <br /> ($21, 022 . 00) during fiscal year 1981-82 , by increasing by One Dollar <br /> ($1 . 00) the amount of the rates charged for each class of service <br /> shown in Exhibit "A" to Resolution No. 1340 , commencing with services <br /> furnished as of September 1, 1981, <br />
