• 410 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1248 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS RELATIVE TO <br /> AGREEMENT PURSUANT TO REVENUE AND TAXATION CODE SECTION 99 FOR <br /> EXCHANGE OF PROPERTY TAX REVENUES FOR TERRITORIES AFFECTED BY A <br /> JURISDICTIONAL CHANGE. <br /> WHEREAS, subparagraph (b) of Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation <br /> Code requires that the Board of Supervisors negotiate an exchange of property <br /> tax revenues with the city for territory affected by a jurisdictional change; <br /> and, <br /> WHEREAS, the cities and county wish to facilitate orderly and exped- <br /> itious jurisdictional changes; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the cities and the county have reached agreement pursuant to <br /> the above referenced code section; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> that the annexing city shall receive the proportion of the one percent (1%) <br /> property tax revenue previously received by the detaching special districts, <br /> but not less than the proportion of the property tax received by the city in <br /> that city's tax rate area composed of the same jurisdictionsreceiving a portion <br /> of the one percent (1%) property tax; <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this distribution formula shall be applied <br /> to jurisdictional changes which were effective during fiscal year 1978-79 <br /> pursuant to subparagraph (d) of Section 99 of the Revenue and Taxation Code; and, <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this distribution formula shall be applied to <br /> all pending and future jurisdictional changes; and, <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the County Auditor be notified of this Resolution <br /> pursuant to subparagraph (b) of Section 99 of the above referenced Code. <br /> REGULARLY passed and adopted this 5th day of December , 1979. <br /> APPROV' D: <br /> ATTEST: CITY 'OUNCIL <br /> / <br /> City Clerk /Mak// <br />
