RESOLUTION NO. 1247 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING <br /> SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR GARBAGE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL SERVICES. <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos <br /> Hills, County of Santa Clara, State of California, that <br /> WHEREAS, on April 20, 1977, the City Council adopted Resolution No. <br /> 1027 approving and authorizing execution of an agreement between the City <br /> and Los Altos Garbage Company; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Exhibit "A" entitled "Rate Schedule" attached to the Agree- <br /> ment contained the service rates approved by the City Council ; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Agreement provides that the Rate Schedule may be amended <br /> by Resolution of the City Council . <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND, ORDERED AND DETERMINED as follows: <br /> 1 . The City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby <br /> finds and determines that the approved service rates contained in the "Rate <br /> Schedule" should be increased because the cost of collection of all garbage, <br /> swill , refuse and waste material collected within the City has increased due <br /> to labor, equipment and disposal increases. <br /> 2. The schedule of approved service rates to be charged by Los Altos <br /> Garbage Company for services performed under the Agreement be, and they hereby <br /> are, amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" entitled "Rate Schedule" attached <br /> hereto and incorporated herein by reference, the amended "Rate Schedule" to <br /> be effective as of December 1 , 1979. <br /> REGULARLY passed and adopted this 7th day of November , 1979. <br /> APPROVED: <br /> ATTEST: CITY COU rIL <br /> BY <br /> Mayor <br />
