ORDINANCE NO. 304 <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 4-1.05 AND 4-1.06 OF <br />CHAPTER 1 ENTITLED "EMERGENCY SERVICES" OF TITLE 4 <br />OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE DESIGNATING <br />THE CITY MANAGER AS DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />The City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills, <br />County of Santa Clara, State of California, DOES ORDAIN as follows: <br />SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. <br />The first two sentences of Section 4-1.05 of Chapter 1 entitled <br />"Emergency Services" of Title 4 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal <br />Code hereby are amended to read as follows: <br />Section 4-1.05. Director of Emergency Services: Powers and <br />Duties. <br />There is hereby created the office of the Director of <br />Emergency Services. The City Manager shall be the Director <br />of Emergency Services. There is hereby created the office of <br />Assistant Director of Emergency Services, who shall be the <br />Mayor. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT OF CODE. <br />Subparagraph (e) of Section 4-1.06 of Chapter 1 entitled <br />"Emergency Services" of Title 4 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal <br />Code hereby is amended to read as follows: <br />Section 4-1.06. Director of Emergency Services: Powers and <br />Duties During Emergencies. <br />In the event of the proclamation of a local emergency, or <br />the proclamation of a state of emergency by the Governor or <br />the Director of the Office of Emergency Services of the State, <br />or the existence of a state of war emergency, the Director of <br />Emergency Services is hereby empowered: <br />
