C7 - • RESOLUTION NO. 1092 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS REQUESTING THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS TO PERMIT THE REGISTRAR OF VOTERS TO RENDER SERVICES RELATING TO THE 1978 GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION WHEREAS, the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills desires the Registrar of Voters of the County of Santa Clara to render specified services to the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills relating to the General Municipal Election to be held March 7, 1978, and to compensate said County for the performance of the services, as provided in Section 22003 of the Elections Code; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: That the City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby requests the Board of Supervisors of the County of Santa Clara to permit the Registrar of Voters to render the following services in connection with the 1978 General Municipal Election, to wit: I . Consolidate county election precincts into municipal election pre- cincts, and provide one set of sectionalized maps of the precincts as consolidated; 2. Designate the location and address of the polling place for each con- solidated precinct; 3. Provide the names and addresses of persons willing to serve as Inspector, Judge and Clerk to conduct the election, and, in connection therewith to prepare the application to: serve as election officer, and to provide copies of inspector's declaration, notices of appointment, inspector's instructions, election officer's digest and any other documents required in connection with the election officers; 4. Order the printing of sample ballots, official ballots, qualification statements, and any other material required to be included in the mailing of sample ballots; 5. Address, sort and insert election notices in sample ballot envelopes; 6. Bag precinct supplies, and supply polling booths, tables and ballot boxes, as well as preparing the receipt for official ballots and precinct supplies; 7. Prepare and supply four sets for each precinct of indexes for consoli- dated and special election precincts, and furnish affidavits of registration;
