%Nr V4 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 321 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS ADOPTING AS <br />AN URGENCY MEASURE THE REPEAL OF SUBSECTION (d) OF SECTION <br />9-1.1111 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE CONCERNING <br />DELINEATION OF DRIVEWAYS ON TENTATIVE MAPS <br />The City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, County of Santa Clara, <br />State of California, DOES ORDAIN as follows: <br />SECTION 1. REPEAL. <br />Subsection (d) together with subparagraphs (1). (2) and (3) thereunder <br />of Section 9-1.111 of Article 11 of Chapter 1 entitled "Subdivisions" of Title 9 <br />of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code be, and, hereby is repealed. <br />SECTION 2. URGENCY AND EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />This Ordinance is an Urgency Ordinance and is for the immediate <br />preservation of the public peace, health and general welfare. The facts <br />constituting the urgency consist of the following: <br />Section 9-1.1111 provides for required road improvements <br />within a subdivision. Subsection (d) thereof purports to require <br />rough grading on driveways delineated on the approved or <br />conditionally approved tentative map. Grading approvals and <br />requirements are now deft with as part of the Site Development <br />permit process set forth in Chapter 2 of Title 10 of the Los Altos <br />Hills Municipal Code when all problems relating to the physical <br />development of a site, including a subdivision lot, may be <br />considered and resolved. <br />Because a number of tentative subdivision maps are being <br />prepared by property owners, it is necessary to eliminate any <br />
