dwelling shall provide surfaced off-street parking facilities for a minimum of <br />one (1) car in addition to the four required for the primary dwelling. Each <br />parking space shall be at least ten (101 feet wide and at least twenty (20') <br />feet long. Unobstructed vehicular access shall be available at all times. <br />SECTION 3. AMENDMENT OF CODE. <br />Section 10-1.702 entitled "Accessory Uses and Structures Permitted <br />(R -A)" of Chapter 1 entitled "Zoning" of Title 10 of the Los Altos Hills <br />Municipal Code is hereby amended by adding thereto Subsection (k) amended <br />to read as follows: <br />Section 10-1.702. Accessory Uses and Structures Permitted (R -A). <br />(k) One secondary dwelling on each parcel or lot of land in one <br />ownership which is of at least one (1) acre in net area, subject to the <br />applicable provisions of this Chapter and other laws. Secondary dwellings <br />shall meet the following standards: <br />(1) A secondary dwelling shall be subordinate to and architecturally <br />consistent with the primary dwelling. <br />(2) The secondary dwelling shall not exceed 1,000 square feet of floor <br />area. <br />(3) If the secondary dwelling is within or attached to the primary <br />-2- <br />
