ORDINANCE NO. 276 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING SECTIONS 8-8.02, 8-8.03 AND 8-B.08 OF CHAPTER 8 ENTITLED "FIRE CODE" OF TITLE 8, AND RENUMBERING SECTIONS OF CHAPTER 4 ENTITLED "SEWAGE" OF TITLE 6, RESPECTIVELY, OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE The City Council of the City of the Town of Los Altos Hills DOES ORDAIN as follows: SECTION 1. AMENDMENT OF CODE. Subsections (b), (c), (d) and (e), respectively, of Section 8-8.02 of Chapter 8 entitled "Fire Code" of Title 8 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code,and each of them, hereby are amended to read as follows: SECTION 8-8.02. DEFINITIONS. (b) Whenever the terms "Chief" or "Fire Chief" are used or appear in the Fire Code, such term shall be deemed and construed to mean Chief of the Los Altos County Fire Protection District, or his designated representative. (c) Whenever the term "Fire Department" is used or appears in the Fire Code, such term shall be deemed and con- strued to mean the Los Altos County Fire Protection District. (c) Whenever the term "Chief of Police" is used or appears in the Fire Code, such term shall be deemed and con- strued to mean the Sheriff of the County of Santa Clara with whom the Town contracts for police services, or his designated representative. (e) Whenever the term "Police Department" is used or appears in the Fire Code, such term shall be deemed and construed to mean the Sheriff's Department of the County of Santa Clara with whom the Town contracts for police services.
