V <br />ORDINANCE NO. 295 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />ADOPTING AS AN URGENCY MATTER THE FIRST EXTENSION OF <br />ORDINANCE NO. 292 <br />WHEREAS, on January 30, 1985 the City Council adopted Ordinance <br />No. 292 entitled: <br />"AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br />ADOPTING AS AN URGENCY MEASURE INTERIM ZONING REGULATIONS <br />REQUIRING A SPECIAL LAND USE PERMIT FOR CONSTRUCTION OR <br />CONVERSION OF STRUCTURES EXCEEDING A HEIGHT OF FIFTEEN <br />(15) FEET IN AN R -A RESIDENTIAL -AGRICULTURAL DISTRICT" <br />pursuant to the provisions of Section 65858 of the Government Code <br />of California; and <br />WHEREAS, on March 11, 1985 and after notice pursuant to Section <br />65090 of the Government Code, the City Council conducted a public <br />hearing to determine whether to extend Ord No. 292 for ten (10) <br />months and fifteen (15) days, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF THE TOWN OF LOS <br />ALTOS HILLS, County of Santa Clara, State of California, does ordain <br />as follows: <br />SECTION 1. FINDINGS. <br />The City Council finds: <br />(a) The study ordered to be made by the Planning <br />Commission and the Planning Officer concerning <br />whether to amend the existing zoning and land <br />use regulations of the City of the Town of Los <br />Altos Hills and to adopt a comprehensive set <br />of new and additional zoning andland use regu- <br />lations, respectively, concerning the maximum <br />height of structures in the R -A Residential- <br />
