1r %0 V 4 <br />one Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00). <br />(b) If the estimated value of the work is less <br />than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), the <br />fee shall be One Hundred Dollars ($100.00). <br />The final deposit fee shall be refunded within <br />thirty (30) days following the making of a final <br />inspection and approval thereof by the Building <br />Official. If a final inspection is not requested <br />and obtained prior to expiration of the Permit, the <br />final deposit fee shall be forfeited to the City of <br />the Town of Los Altos Hills. <br />4. <br />A special inspection fee <br />in the amount <br />of Seventy -Five <br />Dollars ($75.00) shall be <br />paid by any <br />person who is not <br />required to have a building permit but who requests an <br />inspection by or an opinion of the Building Official con- <br />cerning any question arising under the Code and which <br />involves a structure or building. <br />The determination of value or valuation under any of <br />the provisions of this Code shall be made by the Building <br />Official. In determining valuation the Building Official <br />shall utilize, among others, the building valuation data <br />appearing in "Building Standards" a bimonthly publication <br />of the International Conference of Building Officials, <br />5360 South Workman Mill Road, Whittier, California, and <br />under the San Francisco sub -area for "Regional Modifiers, <br />Western United States." <br />-4- <br />
