V "i <br />ORDINANCE NO. 128 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS AMENDING <br />ORDINANCE NO. 8 OF SAID TOWN BY AMENDING PROVISIONS THEREOF <br />RELATING TO SANITARY SEWER HOOKUP. <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DOES <br />HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Ordinance No. 8 of the Town of Los Altos <br />Hills,, MpMed on February 14, 1956, is hereby amended by <br />amending Section 3 thereof to read as follows: <br />"Section 3. In every case in which evidence <br />o=a_iC e of a private sewage disposal system, <br />which system serves any building or buildings <br />where persons reside, congregate, or are employed, <br />and which said building or any of said buildings <br />is either located on property which abuts a street <br />or easement in which there is an approved sanitary <br />sewer, or is itself within 200 feet of an approved <br />sanitary sewer, is presented to the City Council, <br />and said Council finds that such system cannot be <br />made to function satisfactorily by reasonable mea- <br />sures, including alternatives to such sanitary <br />sewers, said Council may order that said building <br />or buildings be connected to such sewer by the owner <br />or occupant of such premises, such connection to be <br />made in the time and manner prescribed by said order. <br />The use or occupancy of any building in violation of <br />any such order is hereby declared to constitute a <br />public nuisance and to be subject to abatement as <br />such." <br />Section 2. Except as hereby amended, said Ordinance <br />No. 8 s a remain in full force and effect. <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be posted in three <br />public 'pra—ces in the Town of Los Altos Hills and shall be- <br />come effective thirty days following its adoption. <br />I hereby certify that the foregoing ordinance was <br />introduced at a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the Town of Los Altos Hills held on September 18, 1967, <br />and was thereafter, at a regular meeting of said Council <br />held on October 2, 1967, passed and adopted by the <br />following roll call vote: <br />AYES: Councilmen Aiken, Benson, Davey, Fowle, Mayor Hen Ly <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />test: <br /> <br />(it r <br />Approved: � <br />L QORIO 6 FAI6ANTMayor' <br />
