or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining <br />portion of this ordinance. The Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, <br />subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause and phrase thereof irrespective of <br />the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, <br />clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional or invalid. <br />SECTION 25. This ordinance shall not be construed as imposing upon <br />the Town of Los Altos Hills any liability or responsibility for damage <br />resulting from the defective construction of any sanitary disposal system <br />as herein provided, nor shall the Town of Los Altos Hills or any official <br />or employee thereof be held as assuming any such liability or responsibility <br />by reason of the inspection authorized thereunder. <br />SECTION 26. This ordinance shall be posted in three (3) public places <br />in the Town of Los Altos Hills and shall become effective thirty (30) <br />days following its adoption. <br />SECTION 27. APPEALS. Any applicant aggrieved by a determination of <br />any administrative official may appeal such determination to the Town <br />Council -by filing a written notice of appeal with the City Manager within <br />ten (10) days after receiving notice of the administrative official's <br />determination. The City Manager shall then put the matter on the next <br />open agenda for hearing at a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting. <br />++++++++++++++++ <br />I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a <br />regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br />on the 23rd day of May, 1968, and was thereafter, following the holding <br />of a public hearing, pursuant to notice as required by law, at a regular <br />meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of June, 1968, passed and <br />adopted by the following roll call vote: <br />AYES: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowls, Helgesson, Mayor Aiken. <br />NOES: None. <br />ABSENT: None. <br />APPROVED <br />/s// WM.
