or invalid, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portion of this ordinance. The Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills hereby declares that it would have passed this ordinance and each section, subsection, paragraph, sentence, clause and phrase thereof irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases be declared unconstitutional or invalid. SECTION 25. This ordinance shall not be construed as imposing upon the Town of Los Altos Hills any liability or responsibility for damage resulting from the defective construction of any sanitary disposal system as herein provided, nor shall the Town of Los Altos Hills or any official or employee thereof be held as assuming any such liability or responsibility by reason of the inspection authorized thereunder. SECTION 26. This ordinance shall be posted in three (3) public places in the Town of Los Altos Hills and shall become effective thirty (30) days following its adoption. SECTION 27. APPEALS. Any applicant aggrieved by a determination of any administrative official may appeal such determination to the Town Council -by filing a written notice of appeal with the City Manager within ten (10) days after receiving notice of the administrative official's determination. The City Manager shall then put the matter on the next open agenda for hearing at a regularly scheduled Town Council meeting. ++++++++++++++++ I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing ordinance was introduced at a regular adjourned meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills on the 23rd day of May, 1968, and was thereafter, following the holding of a public hearing, pursuant to notice as required by law, at a regular meeting of said Council held on the 3rd day of June, 1968, passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: AYES: Councilmen Benson, Davey, Fowls, Helgesson, Mayor Aiken.
