FAISANT <br />•w�Ol 'SIO3i6 ei99' w <br />�W AO <br />the following provisions shall apply: <br />(f) The number of lots and <br />average net lot area permitted shall be based on a <br />demonstration by the applicant and a finding by the <br />Planning Commission that each lot and related <br />subdivision improvements can be developed in <br />compliance with the "Purposes" (Sec. 9-5.103) of <br />this chapter and "Purposes" of Title 9, Chapter 4, <br />of this Code. <br />(ii) The Planning Commission <br />shall extend the formula provisions in Sec. 9-5.401(b)(1) <br />to the average slope of the parcel to be subdivided <br />as a guideline up to fifty (50%) percent in determining <br />the adequacy of the average net lot area of the <br />subdivision. <br />(iii) In no case shall the average <br />net lot area be less than the area required by <br />Sec. 9-5.401(b)(1) for a slope of forty-five (45%) <br />percent. <br />(3) For the purposes of subsections (1) <br />and (2) of this subsection, the average slope of a <br />parcel to be subdivided shall be determined according <br />to the formula S - .00229 IL where: <br />7— <br />M S is the average slope in <br />percent; <br />(ii) I is the contour interval <br />in feet; <br />(iii) L is the combined length of <br />contour lines in scale feet; and <br />(iv) A is the gross area in acres <br />of the parcel to be subdivided. <br />-2 <br />
