• • RESOLUTION NO. 916 RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS DECLARING INTENTION TO CONSIDER A PROPOSED AMEND- MENT TO THE TEXT OF CHAPTER 5 OF TITLE 9 OF THE LOS ALTOS HILLS MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED THE "ZONING LAW OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS, " REFERRING PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE PLANNING COMMISSION, AND SETTING THE TIME AND PLACE OF HEARING THEREON BEFORE THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND THE CITY COUNCIL, RESPECTIVELY - WHEREAS, the City Council desires to consider a certain amendment to subsection (h) of Section 9-5.703 of Chapter 5 entitled "Zoning" of Title 9 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Codehereinafter described; and WHEREAS, pursuant. to . Sections 65854 and 65855 of the Government Code of California, the City Council is required to refer the proposed amendment to the Planning Commission for the holding of a public hearing thereon and the making of a written recommendation thereon, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. The City Council hereby declares its intention to consider an amendment to the Zoning Law of the Town of Los Altos Hills con- sisting of the amendment of subsection (h) of Section 9-5. 703 of Chapter 5 entitled "zoning" of Title 9 of the Los Altos Hills Municipal Code to read as follows: Section 9-5. 703. CONDITIONAL USES AND STRUCTURES (R-A) . (h) Public utility uses and Service Uses. 1. Exception: No conditional use permit or building permit shall be required for any public utility distribution or transmission lines. Provided, however, the proposed routes of all electrical distribution lines carrying current in excess of fifteen (15) kilovolts and the location of public utility structures requiring rights- of-way of thirty (30 ' ) feet or more in width shall be sub- mitted to the Planning Commission for approval prior to the acquisition of rights-of-way therefor, and any construction thereon shall not be commenced until such approval shall have been received.
