• • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 902 <br /> RESOLUTION OF CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN. OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> DECLARING THE INTENTION OF SAID CITY TO VACATE AND ABANDON <br /> A PORTION OF A CERTAIN STREET LOCATED IN THE TOWN OF LOS <br /> ALTOS HILLS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE "STREET VACATION <br /> ACT OF 1941, " SECTION 8300, et seq OF THE STREETS AND <br /> HIGHWAY CODE <br /> It appearing to the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills <br /> that a portion of a certain street more particularly described and <br /> located within the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, should be <br /> vacated and abandoned for the reason that the portion of said public <br /> street easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public <br /> street purposes, and that the best interests of the citizens of Los <br /> Altos Hills will be served by such vacation and abandonment; <br /> And, pursuant to the provisions of the "Street Vacation_ Act of <br /> 1941" , Section 8300, et seq. , of the Streets and Highways Code, such <br /> action is authorized if a public street easement or portion thereof <br /> is unnecessary for present or prospective public use; <br /> NOW., THEREFORE,BE IT AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City <br /> Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills as follows: <br /> 1. The City Council does hereby declare its intention to <br /> vacate and abandon a portion of that certain public street easement <br /> described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br /> reference. <br /> 2. That the official name of the street, a portion of which <br /> is proposed to be abandoned and the name by which it is commonly <br /> known is Robleda Road. <br /> 3. A hearing on said proposed vacation and abandonment of <br /> said public street easement hereinabove described, be and the same <br />
