No such application shall be approved if the Commission finds <br />that the exterior architectural appeal and functional plan of <br />the proposed site will, when erected, not be so at variance with <br />either the exterior architectural appeal and functional plan <br />of the structures already constructed or in the course of con- <br />struction in the immediate neighborhood as to cause a substan- <br />tial depreciation in the property value of said neighborhood. <br />Further consideration shall be given by the Planning Commission <br />in reviewing the application to any storm drainage and surface <br />water runoff problems which may be created. <br />(3) The City Council at its public hearings shall review the <br />application and all plans, drawings, records and other data <br />transmitted by the Planning Commission. The City Council may <br />asstain, modify or reject the Planning Commission's recommendation, <br />whereupon the Building Inspector shall either grant, deny or <br />conditionally grant the permit in accordance with the action of <br />the Council. <br />Sec. 8.100. Prompt Completion. <br />Bring the entire premises to the required condition for occupancy <br />within 60 days from the date of first placement of the structure <br />upon the lot. Failure to comply with this provision shall render <br />the applicant liable to pay to Town a penalty of $25.00 for each <br />day of default. " <br />SECTION 2. Section 6.10 of said Ordinance No. 53 is amended by adding thereto <br />a new sentence to read as follows: <br />"The deposit shall also be used to guarantee completion of any house moving <br />undertaken, from the initial moving to the final setting of such building <br />on its foundation at destination and compliance with all conditions of <br />the permit." <br />SECTION 3. Section 6.20 of said Ordinance No. 53 is hereby repealed. <br />SECTION 4. Section 6.30 of said Ordinance No. 53 is hereby renumbered to <br />be Section 6.20, and is amended to read as follows: <br />"6.20 Liability Insurance. <br />Prior to issuance of a house moving permit, the applicant shall file with <br />the Building Inspector a certificate of insurance issued by an insurer <br />authorized to do business in the State of California, evidencing that the <br />applicant is insured for general public liability and property damage <br />liability in an amount of at least $200,000, and that the Town of Los <br />Altos Hills is an additional named insured on said policy." <br />SECTION 5. Except as herein amended said Ordinance No. 53 shall remain <br />in full force and effect. <br />The above and foregoing ordinance was duly and regular introduced at a <br />regular meeting of the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, held on the <br />6th day of May, 1963, and was thereafter, at a regular meeting held on the <br />2-61 day of May, 1963, passed and adopted by the following roll call vote: <br />AYES: Councilmen Ain, Bowler, Fowle, Henley, Mayor Clayton <br />NOES: None <br />Y.A80 RI0 !
