I . • WJM&L: :5 :zw 4/16/74 " 12c RESOLUTION NO. 766 A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR SEALED PROPOSALS AND FIXING LIQUIDATED DAMAGES FOR FAILURE TO COMPLETE THE WORK WITHIN TIME SPECIFIED SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 10 RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills, California, that WHEREAS, the said. Council did, on the 17th day of April, 1974, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 762 to order the construction of sanitary sewer mains, manholes with manhole frames and covers, wyes and laterals, where requiredand all appurtenances in said Town, all as more particularly described and set forth in said • Resolution of Intention; NOW, THEREFORE, the Clerk of said Town is hereby directed to publish once a week for two weeks in the Palo Alto Times, a newspaper published and circulated in Santa Clara County, there being no newspaper publishedin said Town, and to post in three public places in said Town, a notice inviting sealed proposals or bids for the construction of said improvements, and referring to the plans and specifications on file in the office of said Clerk, the first pub- lication and the posting of which notice shall be at least fourteen days prior to the time fixed for opening bids . All proposals or bids shall be accompanied by cash, a cashier' s or certified check payable to the order of the City Clerk amounting to ten percent of the bid, or by a bond in said amount and payable to said Clerk signedby the bidder and a corporate surety or by the bidder and two sureties who shall justify before any officer com- petent to administer an oath, in double said amount and over and above all statutory exemptions .
