RESOLUTION NO. 36-10 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS <br /> ESTABLISHING A PREFERENTIAL PARKING AREA <br /> (Bledsoe Court) <br /> WHEREAS, the overflow parking from Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve visitors <br /> has created a potential hazard for vehicular traffic and bicyclists on Moody Road; <br /> WHEREAS, such overflow parking has resulted in restricted parking on Moody Road, and <br /> to ensure residents on Bledsoe Court have sufficient parking; <br /> WHEREAS, on February 19, 2004 the City Council adopted an ordinance ("Preferential <br /> Parking Ordinance") which authorizes the Council to establish preferential parking areas by <br /> resolution and the Council has determined that a preferential parking area.is appropriate for Bledsoe <br /> Court; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE as <br /> follows: <br /> Section 1. The City Council hereby establishes a preferential parking area for <br /> Bledsoe Court, Los Altos Hills between the hours of 7 am - 7 pm, Saturday , Sunday and <br /> legal holidays. <br /> Section 2. The City Council hereby directs the City Engineer to cause <br /> appropriate signage to be erected on Bledsoe Court as required by the Los Altos Hills <br /> Municipal Code. <br /> Section 3. Pursuant to California Vehicle Code Section 22507(a), enforcement <br /> of the terms of this resolution shall not take effect until such signage is in place. <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this_day of , 2010 <br /> BY: <br /> Breen eri, Mayor <br /> ATT ST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
