r <br /> • lb ® • <br /> , <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 602A <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THETOWN OF LOS ALTOS <br /> HILLS REGARDING OFF SITE SUBDIVISION DIRECTIONAL SIGNS . <br /> RESOLVED, by the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills , <br /> California, that <br /> WHEREAS, most of the cities in the County' of Santa Clara, <br /> including the Town of Los Altos Hills , have adopted ordinances <br /> limiting the number of off site subdivision directional signs <br /> they will allow; and <br /> WHEREAS, the number of such signs which may be erected in the <br /> unincorporated areas of the County is presently discretionary with <br /> no established standard; and <br /> WHEREAS, continued coordination between the cities and the <br /> County is desirable; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the total number of off <br /> site subdivision directional signs permitted by each city for any <br /> one subdivision should also be applied by the County to the <br /> unincorporated areas within each city 's sphere of influence; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in order to implement this policy, <br /> it is recommended that prior to taking actionupon an application <br /> for an off site subdivision directional sign, the County refer the <br /> application to the appropriate city to determine the number of <br /> such signg already granted for that particular subdivision and the <br /> maximum number allowed under that city 's regulations ; and <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk transmit a copy <br /> of this resolution to the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br /> Santa Clara. <br /> 4 <br /> I HEREBY CERTIFY THAT the foregoing resolution was passed and <br /> adopted at a regular meeting of the City Council of the Town of <br /> Los Altos Hills on September 21, 1970, by the following roll call vote : <br /> AYES : Councilmen Aiken, Davey, Grabowski, Helgesson, Mayor Benson <br /> NOES : NONE <br /> ATTEST : <br /> ABSENT: ONE 7) //� <br /> <br /> <br /> ATTORNEY AT LAW <br /> <br /> -`) C <br /> .� � ity -Cl rk <br /> PALO ALTO, CALIF. 94304 <br /> (415) 328-6333 Mayor I) I VU y5 - i <br /> 1 i <br />� 1 <br />
