District . ) He further commented, in an- <br /> swer to questions from Councilmen, that the Cities of Los Altos . <br /> Mountain View, and Palo flto are considering withdrawing from <br /> the District. <br /> The City '+ttorney advised the Council to declare its intent to <br /> withdraw. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills de- <br /> clare its intention to withdraw from the Matadero Mosquito <br /> Abatement District upon the issuance, from the State De- <br /> partment of Fublic Health, a certificate of adequate a- <br /> batement control. <br /> MOTION: Clayton; SECOND: .liken.; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br /> The City Attorney stated that the Town is entitled to have a <br /> representative on the Board of the Matadero Mosquito Abatement <br /> District. <br /> Mr. Clayton J. Smith was appointed as the Town's representative. <br /> The Mayor set the date for a Special Meeting of the City Council <br /> to vote on the withdrawal from the Matadero Mosquito Abatement <br /> District for Monday, January 30, 1961 at 5:30 P. M. at the Town <br /> Hall. <br /> VARIANCES: <br /> 1. Quirk, Earl C. (V-68-60) - Request for Reduction of Side Yard <br /> Setback Requirements. <br /> The City Clerk reported that the F. C. recommended approval. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the variance of Earl C.
