P. service, were given by Mrs. <br /> Epes Williams , Mrs. Denman of San Jose, Mr. Coldiron, Mr. Frank <br /> Trayor, Mrs. Goldsmith, Fr. Bullis4 Mr. Showalter, Mr. Pfeiffer. <br /> Mr. Mellquist and Mr. Tantau spoke in support of the expressway, <br /> but not necessarily for abandonment of the S. F. tracks. <br /> It was estirated that about 300 people go through here on the <br /> train. About 25 residents of Los Altos Hills use the train. Approval of Palo Alto Hills Road. <br /> Chairman Williams, of the Planning Commission, reported that she <br /> would try to arrange a joint meeting with the Palo Alto Planning <br /> Commission. <br /> Recorrendation of the Planning Commission was submitted, approv- <br /> ing the road subject to the approval of Los Altos Hills City En- <br /> gineer. Mr. Longrire , Engineer, stated. approval of the plan as <br /> subnitted. <br /> The Council -:roved approval. <br /> MOTION: Clayton; SECOND: 3enley; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br /> 2. Paths on Arastradcro Road. <br /> The Planning Cocu:issi:n roc !a^ended that no paths be required, be- <br /> cause they would go nowhere. <br /> Mrs. Travis , rasiacnt of the area, supported this position.
