Fremont Avenue, Los Altos <br /> Hills. <br /> ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Councilmen Aiken, Clayton, Henley, Sherlock, <br /> Mayor Fowle <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> The Mayor announced that this is an Adjourned Regul?r Meeting, rather <br /> than a Special as the Agenda stated. <br /> MINUTES: April 19, 1960. Corrections: <br /> Page 2: Reappointment of the Mayor: ACTION was omitted, <br /> That the nomination be closed. " <br /> Reappointment of the Deputy Mayor: .ACTION was omitted, <br /> "That the nomination be closed. " <br /> April 18, 1960. Corrections: <br /> Page 3: ANNOUNCEMENTS: Item 6: Should state , "Councilman <br /> Clayton commented relative to damage to existing improve- <br /> ments in public rights of way by residents discing proper- <br /> ties, and subsequently impairing drainage. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the Minutes of April 182 and 192, 1960 be adopted as <br /> corrected. <br /> MOTION: Sherlock; SECOND: Clayton; VOTE: Passed <br /> unanimously <br /> COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> 1. Mid-Peninsula Planners - Notice of a meeting to be held Thursday, <br /> May 12, 1960 at 1 :30 r. M. in the Stanford Planning Office. <br /> The Mayor stated that Mr. Nestor Barrett will attend, representing <br /> the Town. <br /> OLD BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Street Deficiency Report. <br /> Mr. D. Meredith, Engineer, explained the purpose of the report <br /> and how the figures, relative to road deficiencies , were computed. <br /> He further explained that the State road standards are much great- <br /> er than those of the Town which accounts for the high figure <br /> i.. relative to projected cost of roads. He stated that the roads in <br /> the Town are deficient only so far as the State is concerned. <br /> Questions and comments were heard from Councilmen, the City Attorney <br /> and Dr. Edward Liston. <br />
