Mockingbird Knolls - Request for Clarification of Status of Ease- <br /> ment. <br /> Mr. Don Carr and Mr. Maurice Johnson were present and questioned <br /> why the dedication of the easement was required. <br /> Councilman Sherlock explained that the easement was left for future <br /> planning of the area, and that the improvements would be required <br /> at the time the adjoining property is subdivided. He stated that <br /> a loop type road is planned for the area. <br /> VARIANCES: <br /> 1. Pampas, R. L. (V-42-59) - Appeal of Driveway Restriction. <br /> Mr. Pappas ' letter, dated June 9, 1959, was read by the City Clerk. <br /> The letter requested that the restriction of access only from <br /> Alejandro be removed, and stated that a driveway off St. Francis <br /> Drive would be more practical due to the planned placement of the <br /> house (30 feet from property line. ) <br /> Planning- Comnission Chairman Mellquist stated that the Planning <br /> Commission felt it was proper when granting a setback on the main <br /> street to mi .ir..ize the traffic hazard on a main street and in this <br /> case to have access from the cul de sac. <br /> Mr. Ronald K. Millar, Counsel for Mr. Norman Bergrun, stated Mr. <br /> Bergrun 's ebjecti.Lt . He stated twat he agreed with the Planning <br /> Commtse±.on eiLi that he felt that they had been extremely generous. <br /> Following dS.ecussion, Chairman rellquist suggested that the matter <br /> be referred back to Planning Commission and that Mr. Pappas subxtt <br /> sketch shotr r.g how traffic is to be handled and also how parking <br /> is to be effected. <br /> Mr. Pappas was agreeable to having the matter of his appeal re- <br /> ferred back to the Planning Commission for a recommendation. <br /> ACTION: <br /> L That the R.
