Truck Ordinance and Neary vs. Town of Los Altos Hills - Report <br /> by Councilman Bledsoe. <br /> Councilman Bledsoe commented on the recent decision of the State <br /> District Court of Appeal in the case of Neary vs. Town of Los <br /> Altos Hills, ruling the Ordinance of the Town prohibiting trucks <br /> use of its streets as illegal. He stated that the Town can appeal <br /> the case to the Suprene Court before September 18, 1959, and fur- <br /> ther stated that in his opinion, due to the judicial aspects, <br /> this would be a good case to take to the higher court. <br /> The City Attorney, Mr. Robin D. vaisant, commented on the decision <br /> rendered by the Court; and agreed with Councilman Bledsoe :that the <br /> Town hes good reason t. go further and nppoal the case to the <br /> Suprore Court: <br /> ACTION: <br /> On the advice of our Town Counsel and Councilman Bledsoe , <br /> that the Town's Counsel be instructed to file with the <br /> Supreme Court the case entitled Neary vs. the Town of Los <br /> Altos Hills. <br /> MOTION: Clayton; SECOND: Sherlock; <br /> ROLL CALL: AYES: Clayton, Sherlock, Mayor Fowle <br /> NOES: None <br /> ._BSTIINED: Bledsoe <br /> ABSENT : Henley <br /> 5.
