Waiver of Covenant - Paul I. Myers, Jr. <br /> The City Clerk explained that Mr. Myers wished to have his name, <br /> as sole resident, deleted from a covenant running with the land <br /> in the event he wishes to sell the property, but the covenant is <br /> still to run with the land. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the name of Paul I. Myers, Jr. , as sole resident, be re- <br /> moved from the covenant. <br /> MOTION: Henley; SECOND: Sherlock; VOTE: Fassed unanimously <br /> 3. House Bill HR 7566 - Councilman Henley recommended that the Council <br /> indorse this Bill which was introduced at the request of the Board <br /> of Directors of the Bay Area Air Pollution Control District. <br /> The Bill would provide for tax amortization on expensive equipment <br /> and facilities required by governmental agencies for air pollution <br /> control. <br /> ACTION: <br /> That the Council indorse House Bill HR 7566 and so advise Mr. <br /> Matthew S. Walker, District Counsel for the Bay Area Air Pollu- <br /> tion Control District. <br /> MOTION: Henley; SECOND: Bledsoe ; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br /> 4. Water - Councilman Henley read a Memo from Senator John F. Thomp- <br /> son suggesting that the cities in Santa Clara Co. appoint a com- <br /> mittee to explore water problems in the County. Councilman Henley <br /> stated that such a Committee already exists, and suggested that no <br /> action be taken by the Council. <br /> WARRANTS: <br /> Bills were presented by Councilman Clayton, in the amount of t'..1,946.78. <br />
