• • RESOLUTION NO. 23-07 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF LOS ALTOS HILLS TO AMEND THE GENERAL PLAN AND ADOPT THE UPDATED INTRODUCTION, CONSERVATION ELEMENT, AND OPEN SPACE AND RECREATION ELEMENT. WHEREAS, in conformance with State Government Code Section 65300 et seg. the Town of Los Altos Hills has updated and amended the Introduction and the Conservation, Open Space and Recreation Elements of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, the updated sections of the General Plan contain goals, policies and programs to protect open space and natural resources and to meet the recreation needs of residents of the Town of Los Altos Hills; and WHEREAS, the Town of Los Altos Hills, as Lead Agency for environmental review on the General Plan update and amendment has prepared an Initial Study and Negative Declaration determining that the project will not have a significant environmental impact; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has considered and recommended to the City Council that it approve the Negative Declaration and adopt the update and amendment of the Introduction, Conservation Element, and Open Space and Recreation Element of the General Plan; and WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of law, a public hearing thereon has been held, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the Town of Los Altos Hills does RESOLVE that the Town hereby adopts the updated Introduction, Conservation Element, and Open Space and Recreation Element of 2007, as amended, to replace those sections of the 1975 General Plan.
