M. at the Town Hall, 26379 , <br />ROLL CALL: PRESENT: Commissioners Alter, Garbett, Hibner, Prentice, <br />Chairman Hawley <br />ABSENT: Commissioner Mellquist <br />MINUTES: June 24, 1963. <br />ACTION: <br />Adopt Minutes of June 24, 1963 as submitted. <br />MOTION: Prentice; SECOND: Garbett; VOTE: Passed unanimously <br />COMMUNICATIONS: None. <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS: None. <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />1. Master Path Plan. <br />Commissioner Garbett reported thO Committee plans to work with a Citi- <br />zens' Committee to determine the best places to construct paths in each <br />Path Zone. He stated that a program of this kind will take some time, <br />and that a report willPKiven later. <br />The suggestion was made that the Path Committee work with the Palo Alto <br />Regional Planning Group in an effort to have coordinated path plan for <br />equestrian and bicycle.traffic as well as for equestrian traffic. <br />2. Ordinance No. 78 - Setbacks. <br />Commissioner Hibner destributed copies of the report, dated July 8, 1963. <br />He explained and discussed the following recommendation; "The setback <br />building line for any structure shall be 30 feet from the property line. <br />Where the property line abuts or is in the vicinity of a road, public <br />or private, the setback line shall be 40 feet back from the existin <br />street ri ht of wa or the future or planned dedication line or road <br />right or way. <br />Following comments by Commissioners, Chairman Hawley suggested that the <br />recommended revision be studied and that it be considered at the next <br />meeting of the Planning Commission. <br />3. Underground Utilities. <br />4 Commissioner Prentice stated that the report will be submitted at the <br />meeting of August 12n. <br />
